Bullish momentum builds as technical signals align with growing market optimism
Bitcoin is once again testing the “golden cross,” a bullish technical signal that has historically preceded some of the cryptocurrency’s most explosive rallies, according to market analysts tracking current price action.
At press time, Bitcoin (BTC) is trading near $111,600, hovering close to the key $110,000 threshold that analysts say could determine the next major move. The pattern — where the 50-day moving average crosses above the 200-day average — has been seen as a strong reversal indicator in past cycles.
“The setup looks incredibly strong,” said crypto analyst Mister Crypto, noting that previous golden crosses led to gains of 2,200% in 2017 and 1,190% in 2020. “A confirmed breakout above this level could absolutely explode Bitcoin’s price in the coming weeks.”
Market analyst Mac emphasized that Bitcoin must hold the $110,000 support zone to avoid signaling the end of the current bull cycle. He noted that the Money Flow Index (MFI) on the 4-hour chart is “deeply oversold,” which could indicate a short-term bounce or continuation pattern.
“The risk-to-reward setup looks favorable,” Mac added. “I don’t expect a huge breakout immediately, but we could see some sideways accumulation before a fresh rally.”
gentlemen I'm deploying captial here slowly. SOL, ETH mainly
If $BTC does not hold $110k we can wrap up this cycle, 4H MFIs oversold as fuck.
the R:R is good. I don't expect us to ultra pump up but a little bit more upward chop next week.
Beyond the charts, broader market conditions continue to shape sentiment. Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat, said the recent stock market pullback may have been “overdue,” with volatility — measured by the VIX index — spiking sharply. “This kind of volatility usually marks a short-term bottom rather than the start of a broader decline,” he said.
Still, analysts maintain that Bitcoin’s long-term structure remains bullish, with technicals suggesting the next leg higher could begin once $110,000 is decisively reclaimed.
