ARK Invest strengthens its exposure to digital asset infrastructure as Bullish secures major regulatory milestones and expands into the United States.
ARK Invest Increases Exposure to Bullish Following NYSE Debut
Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest has deepened its commitment to the digital asset exchange Bullish, purchasing over $5 million worth of shares across multiple ETFs. The move follows the exchange’s U.S. trading debut on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BLSH, marking another step in ARK’s strategy to back blockchain-focused financial platforms.
According to ARK’s daily trade disclosures, ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) acquired 72,537 shares, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) added 21,354 shares, and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) purchased 11,122 shares. This latest round of buying follows an $8.27 million purchase in mid-October, underscoring ARK’s continued confidence in the platform’s growth trajectory.
Bullish celebrated its official U.S. launch in New York after obtaining both a BitLicense and a money transmission license from state regulators. The exchange is now operational across 20 states, introducing spot trading with BitGo and Nonco as its first institutional clients.
“The energy in the room said it all — the future is Bullish,” the company stated following its U.S. debut event, which gathered top digital asset executives and investors.
Since its global launch in 2021, Bullish has processed over $1.5 trillion in trading volume, establishing itself among the top 10 exchanges by Bitcoin and Ethereum activity. On Friday, Bullish shares gained 1.24% to close at $50.57, reflecting steady investor confidence despite recent market volatility.
Analysts See Institutional Confidence Building
Market strategists note that ARK’s ongoing accumulation of Bullish shares signals rising institutional trust in compliant and regulated digital asset platforms. “When firms like ARK continue adding exposure, it validates the growing link between traditional finance and digital asset markets,” said a senior crypto analyst at a New York-based investment firm.
With regulatory clarity improving and institutional partnerships expanding, Bullish appears well-positioned to capture growing U.S. trading activity in the evolving digital exchange landscape.
