Chainlink has introduced 24/5 onchain data streams for U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds, marking a significant step toward aligning traditional equity markets with blockchain’s always-on infrastructure. The new service extends Chainlink’s existing data streams to cover all weekday trading sessions, including after-hours and overnight periods.
The newly launched solution delivers fast, secure, and low-latency market data for tokenized U.S. equities and ETFs, five days a week. By providing continuous pricing and market signals beyond standard trading hours, the system enables decentralized protocols to more accurately reflect real-world market conditions onchain.
These streams are already supported across more than 40 blockchains using the Chainlink Data Standard, making integration accessible for a wide range of decentralized applications.
The rollout comes as both centralized and decentralized platforms compete to offer extended or round-the-clock trading for traditional assets. With tokenized equities gaining traction, reliable off-hours data has become critical. Chainlink’s solution addresses long-standing gaps where onchain markets lacked accurate pricing outside regular U.S. market hours, reducing pricing blind spots and off-hours risk.
Several crypto-native platforms, including derivatives exchanges and trading protocols, are integrating the new data streams to support 24/5 equity-based products. These streams can power structured products, synthetic equities, prediction markets, lending protocols, and yield strategies, expanding the design space for real-world asset applications onchain.
By enabling continuous weekday data for tokenized U.S. equities, Chainlink is pushing onchain finance closer to traditional market standards while preserving blockchain efficiency. The launch signals a broader shift toward deeper integration of real-world assets into decentralized financial systems.
