Chainlink price feeds are now live for Ondo Finance’s tokenized US equities on Ethereum, marking a significant step in bringing traditional financial assets deeper into decentralized finance. The integration enables real-time, onchain pricing for SPYon, QQQon and TSLAon, allowing these blockchain-based representations of US stocks and exchange-traded funds to be used as collateral in DeFi lending markets.
Tokenized US Stocks Gain DeFi Utility
The newly activated feeds provide verified market data for SPYon (tracking the SPDR S&P 500 ETF), QQQon (linked to the Invesco QQQ ETF) and TSLAon (representing Tesla shares). With reliable price references now available on Ethereum, these assets can be deposited on lending protocol Euler, where users may borrow stablecoins against their holdings.
Accurate oracle pricing is essential for setting collateral factors and managing liquidations. The feeds also reflect corporate actions such as dividend distributions, ensuring that token values stay aligned with their underlying securities.
Expanding the Tokenization of Equities
The move addresses a longstanding limitation in tokenized equities, which previously offered price exposure but limited functionality within DeFi. By combining exchange-linked liquidity with decentralized oracle infrastructure, Ondo aims to broaden the role of tokenized stocks in lending and structured products.
Additional tokenized stocks and ETFs are expected to receive oracle support as integrations expand, signaling continued momentum in the race to bring US equities onto blockchain rails.
