The Tokyo-listed firm accelerates Ether accumulation, targeting a 100,000 ETH treasury amid growing institutional adoption in Asia.

In a significant development for the digital asset industry, Quantum Solutions, a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company backed by ARK Invest, has officially become the largest Ether (ETH) digital asset treasury (DAT) outside the United States. The company has been on an aggressive accumulation drive, purchasing $9 million worth of Ether in just one week, signaling strong institutional confidence in Ethereum’s long-term value.

Quantum Solutions’ founder Francis Zhou revealed that the company has accumulated 2,365 ETH within seven days, pushing its total holdings to 3,866 ETH, currently valued at around $14.8 million. Zhou emphasized the firm’s rapid accumulation strategy, stating that Quantum Solutions is acquiring approximately 150 million yen (about $983,000) worth of ETH per day and plans to “continue to accelerate accumulation.”

The company aims to build a 100,000 ETH treasury, supported by a $180 million funding round completed in late September. Venture capital giants including ARK Invest and Susquehanna International Group (SIG) backed the initiative, marking one of the most substantial institutional moves into Ethereum in Asia.

Japan Leads Regional Support for Crypto Treasuries

While other major markets like Hong Kong, India, and Australia have tightened regulations around digital asset treasuries, Japan remains one of the few regions supportive of publicly listed DATs. This favorable environment has enabled Quantum Solutions to rise as Japan’s leading Ether DAT and the 11th largest globally, according to market data.

Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, commented, “Three months into the DAT revolution, we’re proud to support Japan’s first institutional-grade ETH DAT,” highlighting the growing institutional demand for Ethereum exposure.

Despite a recent slowdown in the global DAT momentum, with share prices of major crypto-holding firms declining, analysts remain cautiously optimistic. Market strategist Tom Lee recently noted that the current downturn could be an opportunity, saying the “price dislocation” in Ether presents a strong buying signal for long-term investors.

As institutional adoption deepens, Quantum Solutions’ bold accumulation strategy underscores Japan’s emerging leadership in Ethereum-based corporate investment—a move that may inspire other firms across Asia to follow suit.
