Halcyon, a new communications firm focused on Bitcoin, stablecoins, and AI, officially launched this week, aiming to redefine how emerging tech companies tell their stories. Founded by Aubrey Strobel and Elena Nisonoff, both former Lolli executives, the firm is based in New York City and targets early to mid-stage startups.
A Boutique PR Firm for the Next Tech Era
Halcyon isn’t a traditional PR agency. It blends public relations, marketing, content, and video production with a venture-style partnership model. Strobel describes it as a modern, internet-native firm that helps clients craft impactful narratives aligned with market trends.
“Bitcoin, DeFi, AI, and stablecoins are reshaping global systems — we’re here to shape how that story is told,” Strobel said in an interview.
She emphasized that Halcyon will act more like a strategic growth partner than a service vendor, working hands-on to build narratives and go-to-market strategies from the earliest stages.
From Podcasting to PR Strategy
Aubrey Strobel, well known for her podcast The Aubservation, is also a filmmaker and advisor to Trust Machines, a company building on the Bitcoin protocol. She previously led communications at Lolli, which was recently acquired by Thesis. Her work includes the short film Lekker Feeling: A Bitcoin Ekasi Story, spotlighting Bitcoin’s impact on South African communities.
“The Golden Age of tech is here. We can’t let it slip away because the stories failed to reflect the innovation,” Strobel noted in Halcyon’s launch release.
Timing the Market Right
The launch of Halcyon comes as Bitcoin trades near all-time highs and the GENIUS Stablecoin Act becomes the first major U.S. crypto regulation law. Market chatter also suggests 15+ crypto IPOs may be in the pipeline, highlighting a ripe environment for narrative-driven branding.
Halcyon aims to help crypto and AI startups own the narrative before the next wave of public market activity.
