Strategy Bitcoin Holdings Rise to 671,268 BTC After Latest Acquisition
Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy has strengthened its long-term accumulation strategy with the purchase of 10,645 bitcoin for approximately $980 million, pushing its total holdings to 671,268 BTC. The acquisition was made at an average price of $92,098 per bitcoin during the period between Dec. 8 and Dec. 14, according to a recent regulatory filing.
The company’s Bitcoin treasury is now valued at roughly $60 billion, with a total acquisition cost of about $50.3 billion, including fees and expenses. This gives Strategy exposure to more than 3% of Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million supply, underscoring its position as the largest corporate holder of BTC globally. At current market prices, the holdings reflect unrealized gains of nearly $10 billion.
The latest purchase was funded through equity and preferred stock offerings, including sales of Class A common shares and multiple perpetual preferred stock instruments. Strategy continues to rely on capital market activity as part of its expanded “42/42” capital plan, which targets up to $84 billion in fundraising through 2027 to support further Bitcoin accumulation.

Despite heightened scrutiny around bitcoin-heavy balance sheets, Strategy has maintained its position in major equity benchmarks and continues to signal confidence in its approach. The repeated large-scale purchases highlight an unwavering commitment to Bitcoin as a core treasury reserve asset, even amid market volatility and broader investor caution.
