Robinhood Expands Access to Private Market Investments

Robinhood has allocated roughly $35 million through its newly launched venture fund, targeting high-growth private firms. The fund invested about $14.6 million in Stripe and $20 million in ElevenLabs, aiming to broaden retail investor exposure to emerging sectors.

Focus on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence

Stripe, valued at $159 billion, operates a stablecoin platform called Bridge, reinforcing its position in digital payments. ElevenLabs focuses on AI-driven voice and audio technology, developing tools for realistic speech generation.

Fund Strategy Targets Frontier Companies

Robinhood Ventures Fund I, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange, is designed to give everyday investors access to private companies traditionally limited to institutional capital. The portfolio also includes firms such as Revolut, Airwallex, Databricks, Boom, and Ramp, reflecting a strategy centered on fintech and advanced technology sectors.

Robinhood shares were up 2% Tuesday trading at $76.78. RVI was lower by 0.4%.
