Investment advisers accounted for the largest share of disclosed holdings, representing around $270 million in exposure. Hedge funds followed with approximately $186 million. Among the largest known holders are firms such as Electric Capital and Goldman Sachs.

Despite a decline of more than 50% in Solana’s market price since October, cumulative inflows into Solana ETFs have reached about $1.45 billion. The funds have also added around $173 million in net inflows during 2026.

Retail Investors Dominate XRP ETF Ownership

In contrast, funds tied to XRP appear to rely more heavily on retail investors. Only about 16% of XRP ETF assets were reported through 13F filings, indicating a smaller institutional presence.

Advisers hold roughly $165 million of disclosed assets, while hedge funds account for about $37 million.

Crypto ETF Market Continues to Evolve

The contrasting ownership structures highlight how newer crypto ETFs are still developing investor bases. While Bitcoin ETFs have attracted broad institutional participation, Solana and XRP funds are currently following distinct adoption paths.
