Technical analysis highlights rising momentum with resistance near $0.05
The cryptocurrency PENGU is drawing renewed market attention as open interest surges alongside sustained technical strength. Despite a minor pullback, the asset remains within an ascending structure, holding above crucial support levels that could dictate its next move.

At the time of analysis, PENGU is trading near $0.036, marking a slight correction of around 4%. However, the token continues to respect its ascending trendline, which has guided price action higher since July.
The immediate support zone lies between $0.030 and $0.034, highlighted by consistent buying activity in this range. A deeper support sits near $0.016, where previous consolidation provided the base for July’s breakout rally.
On the upside, PENGU faces strong resistance around $0.045–$0.050. This level has repeatedly capped rallies, suggesting a breakout above it could open the door to a broader continuation toward the $0.06–$0.065 range.
Analysts suggest that the rising open interest signals heightened speculation around the token’s next breakout attempt. BITX market strategist explained:
“When open interest climbs with price stability above support, it often indicates fresh long positions. If resistance at $0.05 breaks, momentum could accelerate quickly.”
On the contrary, another analyst warned that if price breaks below the trendline and green support area, bearish pressure could push PENGU back toward the $0.025–$0.020 zone.
Broader Implications
The recent 35% monthly correction has not shaken the broader uptrend, as higher lows continue to build a bullish structure. With open interest surging, traders are closely watching whether PENGU can maintain its support level and challenge overhead resistance.
PENGU’s technical outlook suggests a market at a turning point. Holding above support zones could validate bullish momentum and set the stage for a breakout, while a failure may trigger deeper corrections. For now, rising open interest reflects growing investor conviction, making the next move crucial for short-term traders and long-term holders alike.
