Delete Your Account & Data
How to permanently delete your Blockto account and all associated data from the Blockto app (io.blockto.app) and blockto.io.

1. Delete in the app (fastest)
Open the Blockto app while signed in.
Go to Menu → My Profile → "Danger Zone" → Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently and immediately removed, and you are signed out.
This is a self-service action — no request or waiting period is required.
2. Delete by email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@blockto.io from the address on your account.
Subject line: "Delete my account".
We verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days.
3. What gets deleted
Your account and login credentials (email and authentication details).
Your display name and profile picture.
Your saved articles, watchlist, and reading progress.
Your push notification token and notification preferences.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
4. What we keep (and for how long)
Encrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days, after which it is permanently erased.
We may retain minimal records where required by law (e.g. tax or fraud-prevention obligations); these hold no usable profile data.
Newsletter subscriptions are managed separately — use the unsubscribe link in any email, or ask us to remove you when you request deletion.
