843,775 BTC and Counting: Is Strategy Still in Buying Mode or Cashing Out?

Michael Saylor put out a Strategy’s orange dot Bitcoin chart on X today giving the market a snapshot of how the company’s buying has stacked up over time. According to the chart, Strategy has now made 113 individual Bitcoin buys since starting its accumulation strategy, bringing total holdings to 843,775 BTC. Those purchases add up to close to $63.69 billion spent, working out to an average cost of $75,476 per coin.

Bitcoin Sale Included in the Update

The post also came with news of a sale. Strategy offloaded 3,588 BTC between June 29 and July 5, bringing in $216 million. That money went toward covering dividend payouts on its preferred shares and rebuilding its cash reserve.

Where the Numbers Stand Now

Based on a Bitcoin price of $63,988, the company’s current BTC stash is worth close to $53.991 billion. MSTR’s market cap sits at $35.17 billion, with enterprise value at $54.838 billion and an mNAV ratio of 1.02. Cash reserves stand at $2.55 billion, debt is at $6.754 billion, and preferred stock value comes to $15.464 billion.

The numbers show a company still holding onto the vast majority of its Bitcoin, even while trimming small portions to keep cash flowing for its other obligations.
