Quantum Economics founder Mati Greenspan said the pattern resembles classic bottom formations, marked by short squeezes and traders rushing to avoid missing further gains. He pointed to supportive signals including White House discussions on Bitcoin Treasury operations and progress toward clearer SEC and CFTC regulation, arguing the odds of another major pullback remain low.
Cautious Voices Warn of Overreliance on Mechanics
AdLunam co-founder Jason Fernandes was more skeptical, saying it’s too early to call an end to the bear market without sustained ETF inflows and clear interest rate easing. He noted that months of tight, range-bound trading had allowed heavy short positioning to build, which then triggered a cascade of liquidations once resistance levels broke.
