Decibel and Shelby Lead Aptos AI Expansion

As part of the initiative, Aptos highlighted two recently launched platforms. Decibel, an AI-powered onchain perpetuals exchange and order book, went live on Aptos mainnet earlier this year. Shelby, another key product, is a decentralized storage protocol developed to handle AI agent workloads and large-scale data processing.

The foundation also stated that the Aptos token will play a central role in the network’s AI economy through staking, transaction fees, and advanced feature access.

Aptos additionally plans to expand integrations with neobanks, wallet providers, and institutional platforms while developing encrypted mempools and confidential perpetual trading systems to strengthen privacy and scalability across the blockchain ecosystem.
