Binance Expands Into Traditional Finance With Options on 1,000+ US Stocks

Binance has broadened its push into traditional financial markets by introducing options trading on over 1,000 US listed stocks and exchange traded funds. The new offering is available to eligible users outside the United States and will be accessible through the platform’s existing account infrastructure, with execution and settlement handled through a registered US securities firm.

Physically Settled Contracts Mark Key Difference

Unlike equity-linked derivative products offered elsewhere on the platform, these new options are physically settled, meaning users who exercise them will actually receive or deliver the underlying shares rather than settling in cash. The move builds on the exchange’s broader equities offering, which already includes thousands of US stocks and ETFs.

Tokenized Equities Market Continues Rapid Growth

The expansion comes amid a sharp rise in trading activity tied to traditional financial products on crypto platforms, with monthly volume climbing significantly over recent months. The broader tokenized stock market has also grown substantially over the past year, with rising transfer volumes and a growing number of participants. Other major exchanges and brokerages have made similar moves recently, expanding equity access and onchain stock offerings for international users.
