Customers wasted little time moving money once Binance began reopening withdrawals at 6:00 UTC on Sunday. DefiLlama data shows $5.8 billion in net outflows over 24 hours. By 3:30 UTC, the exchange had processed $4.6 billion in withdrawals against $1 billion in deposits, a net loss of $3.6 billion at that point.

Why the Outflows Are Limited
Binance says the rush peaked early and is now settling. It points out that the amount leaving is a small slice of the roughly $171 billion in customer assets it holds. Stablecoin USDT made up the biggest share of withdrawals, followed by USDC and Bitcoin.
Binance Hack Recovery and Restored Networks
The breach is the largest crypto theft on record, so the withdrawal numbers serve as an early gauge of user trust. Its latest update, issued at 12:36 UTC, confirmed that token withdrawals now work across 15 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and XRP Ledger, with more assets to return in phases. On Saturday, the exchange said it had already covered 90% of the stolen assets using its corporate treasury, its Secure Asset Fund for Users and its futures insurance fund.
