Binance Starts Second Withdrawal Phase as Outflows Cool After Record Hack

Binance will bring back more crypto withdrawals in stages from 04:00 UTC on Tuesday, following the first reopening on Nov. 1. Each asset returns only after security and readiness checks are done, and tokens with the highest user demand over the past week come first. Deposits never stopped. The networks included in this round are Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, XRP Ledger, Sui, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron and Base.

Fiat Withdrawals Restored

On Monday, the exchange also turned on withdrawals for several fiat currencies, among them the US dollar, UAE dirham, Vietnamese dong, Philippine peso and Indonesian rupiah. These join 23 other currencies that were already available.

Binance Outflows Slow After the $6.3 Billion Hack

DefiLlama figures show money leaving the exchange is easing. Net outflows came to $2.57 billion on Monday, well below the $6.1 billion recorded a day earlier, which suggests the first wave of panic withdrawals has passed.

Binance Scam Warning for Users

Binance cautioned that fraudsters may take advantage of the phased restart by posing as the exchange. Common tricks include offering faster withdrawals, selling priority processing, promising help with compensation claims or pushing people to move funds into a so-called Binance vault. The exchange said anyone who offers to speed things up for a fee is running a scam.
