Futures Market Sees More Repositioning Than New Bets
Open interest across crypto futures has stayed steady above $140 billion, even as trading volume jumped nearly 10% to $222 billion. The taker volume ratio leans slightly bearish, with short positions making up 51% of overall flow.
SOL And CC Draw Trader Attention
SOL open interest has risen to 70.88 million tokens, its highest level since early July, though negative cumulative volume delta suggests sellers are acting with urgency. CC futures open interest has grown more than 5%, nearing March’s record near 340 million tokens, backed by a positive CVD reading that points to buyer-led momentum.
Outside of CC, TRX, and HYPE, most tokens show negative CVD readings, signaling that sellers continue to lead price action across the wider market.
