US listed spot Bitcoin exchange traded funds recorded their largest single day inflows in nearly eight months on Thursday, pulling in over $730 million as Bitcoin climbed back above $80,000. US listed spot Bitcoin exchange traded funds recorded their largest single day inflows in nearly eight months on Thursday, pulling in over $730 million as Bitcoin climbed back above $80,000. This marked a significant jump from the previous day’s inflows and came after Bitcoin spent much of the week trading within a relatively tight price range.

BlackRock’s Bitcoin fund led the surge, accounting for the majority of Thursday’s total inflows, followed by contributions from several other major fund providers. Only two smaller Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows during the same period.
Analysts Urge Caution Despite Strong ETF Demand
Despite the impressive inflow numbers, analytics firm CryptoQuant cautioned that Bitcoin’s recent price rally appears to be driven more by traders closing short positions rather than genuine new buying interest, suggesting fresh demand remains relatively weak. The firm noted a significant wave of profit-taking in recent weeks, with investors realizing substantial gains during the price climb.
