Bitcoin ETFs See Fourth Straight Day of Outflows as Price Struggles Near $65K
US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a fourth consecutive session of outflows, with investors pulling out roughly $49.8 million as bitcoin briefly dropped to $63,000.

US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a fourth consecutive session of outflows, with investors pulling out roughly $49.8 million as bitcoin briefly dropped to $63,000.
Outflows Add Up to Over Half a Billion Dollars
Across the four day stretch, Bitcoin ETFs saw combined net outflows of about $526 million, with the heaviest withdrawals occurring on July 24 and July 23, totaling around $240 million and $225 million respectively. Despite this pullback, total net inflows since launch remain strong at $51.3 billion, with overall net assets standing at $77.2 billion as of July 28.

Streak Follows Strong Inflow Period
The recent outflows come right after a seven day stretch of inflows that brought in nearly $1 billion, underscoring how quickly sentiment has shifted following bitcoin’s failure to hold above $65,000. Analysts note that a return to sustained bullish momentum would likely require renewed buying demand and improved overall market conditions. Trading volume data shows a sharp decline compared to previous years, with spot volume on major exchanges falling significantly from levels seen in late 2024.
Price Action Remains Choppy
Bitcoin was trading around $64,394 at the time of reporting, up 2.8% over the past week. The asset briefly touched a low of $63,100, its weakest level since mid-July, before recovering slightly.
