Bitcoin Falls Below $83K as Liquidity Hunt Blocks a Push Toward Yearly Open
Bitcoin slipped on Monday, tracking a fall in US stock futures after President Donald Trump declined to promise a permanent end to strikes on Iran. The move pushed BTC to its weakest level of the week.

Bitcoin Price Analysis: Why BTC Reversed
Bitcoin dropped under $82,300 against the dollar, its first dip below that mark since Sept. 21. The pair had just posted its best weekly close since late January, near $84,450, but it never made another run at last week’s eight-month high above $87,000.

Instead, more than $30 million in sell orders piled up on exchange order books around $85,700. Large, sudden walls of liquidity like this can point to big traders trying to steer price, and that is what appeared to happen here.
Long Liquidations Add Pressure
The slide wiped out nearby long positions worth roughly $366 million over 24 hours, based on liquidation data.

Trump Iran Comments Hit Crypto and Stock Futures
Risk assets weakened after Trump, speaking at the PGA Tour Presidents Cup on Sunday, said further strikes were possible but that he didn’t want to say so outright. Nasdaq futures fell 0.9%, while WTI crude climbed above $95 a barrel for the first time since Sept. 24.
