After briefly touching $82,000, Bitcoin eased slightly to about $81,900, still holding a 2.5% daily gain as traders reacted positively to the regulatory progress in Washington.

Crypto Stocks Jump, Coinbase Leads Gains

Crypto related equities also rallied following the news. Coinbase led the sector with an 8% jump according to Blockto market data as investors priced in stronger institutional participation if clearer regulations are approved.

Strategy gained around 7%, while Ethereum focused treasury firm Bitmine advanced 5.6%.

Broader Markets Lifted by AI and Tech Momentum

The positive mood extended beyond digital assets. U.S. stock indexes including the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 reached fresh record highs. AI chipmaker Cerebras surged on its market debut, at one point doubling above its IPO price, reinforcing strong investor appetite for artificial intelligence and infrastructure-related assets.

Data center and former mining firms also moved higher, including Keel Infrastructure, IREN, and Hive Digital, as capital rotated into both AI and crypto-linked growth sectors.
