Ledger Hardware Wallet Theft Reports Hit Security Concerns
Crypto largely brushed off claims that funds were stolen from Ledger users. Ledger acknowledged the reports and linked them to CryptoBillis, a reseller based in Southeast Asia, advising anyone who set up a device to move assets to a new signer with a fresh seed. Hardware wallets have faced tougher scrutiny since Coldcard suffered a multi-phase hack in July and August.

Bitcoin Key Levels Ahead of US CPI Data
The $82,500 zone has acted as support since mid-September and forms part of a possible inverse head-and-shoulders reversal, similar to a pattern seen in 2023. Bitfinex’s research team expects range-bound trading between $81,300 and $86,500 until the Oct. 14 US inflation report, with repeated tests of $84,000.
