Oil Jumps, Gold and Stocks Slide
Crude oil prices climbed close to 2% following the attack near the Strait of Hormuz, a critical route for global oil shipments. Gold, often seen as a safe-haven asset, dropped instead, and Nasdaq futures also edged lower.

Bitcoin has climbed roughly 23% this month, far outperforming gold and major stock indexes.
