A long silent Bitcoin wallet stirred on Monday, shifting roughly 4,582 BTC worth $377.6 million after sitting untouched for more than six years. Blockchain trackers spotted the transfer, which split the funds across five fresh addresses where they currently remain.

The wallet first collected those coins in March 2020, when the entire stash was valued at just $40.8 million. That means the holder has watched the position grow nearly tenfold during Bitcoin’s wild ride since.
Second Major Whale Transfer This Month
This isn’t an isolated event. Last week, a separate whale moved 4,500 BTC, around $375.7 million, after more than four years offline. Large movements from old wallets often draw attention because they can signal profit-taking or big strategy shifts by early investors.
Bitcoin Price Holds Near $83,000
Bitcoin slipped 1.4% over 24 hours to $83,245, having touched a local low near $81,220 earlier. Analysts aren’t panicking though. Justin d’Anethan of Arctic Digital said the dip doesn’t cancel out a potential bull run it just points to recalibration and maybe a fresh support zone forming.
