Bitcoin’s $63,000 Price Zone Becomes A Major Battle Line For Buyers, Data Shows
Bitcoin has been holding steady between $60,000 and $67,000 for several weeks, and new onchain data shows the $63,000 level has turned into one of the most heavily contested price zones in the current market cycle.

Bitcoin has been holding steady between $60,000 and $67,000 for several weeks, and new onchain data shows the $63,000 level has turned into one of the most heavily contested price zones in the current market cycle.

Blockchain analytics show more than 3% of bitcoin’s entire circulating supply, close to 515,000 coins, last changed hands around the $63,000 mark. Another 2% of supply, roughly 362,000 coins, sits near $61,000. The only zone with heavier supply concentration is between $78,000 and $82,000, where bitcoin peaked back in May.
This kind of data tracks where large amounts of coins were last bought, based on each holder’s average acquisition price, giving a picture of where investors are most likely to defend their positions or look to exit.
Trading Right At A Key Long-Term Average
Bitcoin is currently trading almost exactly in line with its 200-week moving average, a long-term indicator that tracks the average weekly price over roughly four years. That average currently sits around $63,657, just below bitcoin’s recent price near $63,822, pointing to heavy accumulation happening right at this level.

Both Retail And Big Holders Are Buying
Accumulation trend data broken down by wallet size shows retail investors are currently the most aggressive buyers at these prices. Every other category of holder is also adding to positions, including large whales holding at least 1,000 BTC, which are showing accumulation patterns just as strong as smaller retail wallets.
