A political action committee affiliated with a major crypto-industry backed super PAC has spent just over $189,000 on media to support a sitting congressman’s reelection bid in Massachusetts. The spending, disclosed through federal election filings, represents the group’s latest effort to shape the outcome of a 2026 primary race ahead of Tuesday’s vote.

Rival Candidate Raises Concerns Over Influence
A Democratic challenger criticized the spending, alleging that some funds were used to produce AI-generated campaign mailers backing the incumbent. The challenger also claimed the congressman had received tens of thousands of dollars from crypto-industry donors since 2020 and called on him to distance himself from the PAC’s involvement, citing his past support for a digital asset market structure bill still awaiting Senate action.

PAC Signals Continued Election Spending
The spending follows several million dollars already directed toward House and Senate primary races in other states earlier this year. The broader network reported having over $100 million in available funds heading into the fall campaign season, with organizers signaling plans for continued involvement through the November general election.
