Crypto.com Expands UAE Regulatory Presence

The license activates Crypto.com’s partnership with Dubai’s Department of Finance, enabling the exchange to process government-related payments through its local entity, Foris DAX Middle East FZE. The approval also strengthens the company’s growing regulatory position in the Middle East, where compliance and licensing have become central to crypto expansion.

Future Crypto Payment Integrations in UAE

The company said future integrations could include services with Emirates Airlines and Dubai Duty Free, although those plans still require additional approvals from UAE regulators. The development reflects increasing efforts to merge traditional payments with regulated digital asset services across the region.
