Nethermind asked for its whole repository to be audited, while ZEUS wants its app checked for flaws touching payments, private keys and Lightning connections. VirtEngine, a decentralized cloud marketplace built as a Cosmos SDK chain, also applied. None of the requests had been merged at the time of reporting.

How OSS Scanner Works

Anthropic says it already scans open-source code and shares findings after human review, but that step is slow. OSS Scanner will send reports as soon as a project’s code has been scanned. Projects will be judged case by case, based on their role in infrastructure and user security, exposure to remote attacks and how many users or other projects rely on them. Other applicants include builders of AI assistants, agent-security tools, machine-learning infrastructure, cloud storage and energy-system controls.

AI-Assisted Attacks Push Crypto Toward Frontier Models

The applications arrive as crypto firms seek access to top-tier AI for defense, and experts warn that uneven access could leave defenders behind.
