Trump reportedly described the bill as a “yawn” and postponed a planned signing ceremony, saying lawmakers should instead focus on passing the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of US citizenship for voter registration.

Elizabeth Warren Supports Bill Despite CBDC Ban

Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren backed the housing legislation and urged Trump to approve it despite the controversial digital currency restriction.

The Senate is expected to return by mid July and could soon debate the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, another major crypto market structure proposal supported by parts of the industry and the White House.
