Transaction Spotted by On-Chain Analyst
The move was flagged by on chain analyst Ember, who tracked the transfer about an hour after it happened. Argot Collective has received support from the Foundation in previous years as part of an ongoing commitment to fund Ethereum’s development ecosystem.

Last July, the Ethereum Foundation gave Argot 7,000 ETH in operational funding. Argot later sold 4,826.6 ETH from that batch at an average price of $3,194 each, converting the funds into $15.417 million in USDC to cover day-to-day expenses.

Funding Remains a Priority for Ethereum’s Ecosystem
Consistent financial support for development teams continues to be a focus area within the Ethereum ecosystem, with the Foundation maintaining multi-year commitments to groups like Argot Collective to keep core development work funded over time.
