Which Airports and Flights Were Affected
Danish police are investigating threats tied to Copenhagen airport, which kept running normally. Prague logged warnings covering nine flights, with no cancellations, though a Wizz Air service to Rome landed in Venice as a precaution. France reported four fresh threats to aircraft over its territory, and a Ryanair flight from Rome to Lisbon met a security operation on arrival. Thursday was worse, with almost 30 flights affected, some forced to land and others escorted by fighter jets.
Is This a Hybrid Attack on Europe?
Experts see signs of coordination, though copycats remain possible. Spain’s foreign minister, José Manuel Albares, said so many identical incidents cannot be chance and called it likely hybrid aggression and psychological warfare. No country has been blamed, but many officials link wider sabotage across Europe to support for Ukraine and point at Moscow.
Male State Claim Denied
Some Italian threats cited a group called the Male State. Its founder, Vladislav Pozdnyakov, says it no longer exists and played no part.
