HashKey Exchange Wins JPMorgan Approval to Open Client Money Account
Hong Kong licensed crypto exchange HashKey has secured approval from JPMorgan Chase to open a client money account, its parent company confirmed Monday. The new account will allow HashKey to keep customer funds separate from company assets and handle settlements through JPMorgan's banking systems.

Hong Kong licensed crypto exchange HashKey has secured approval from JPMorgan Chase to open a client money account, its parent company confirmed Monday. The new account will allow HashKey to keep customer funds separate from company assets and handle settlements through JPMorgan’s banking systems.
Second Major Banking Deal in Weeks
The JPMorgan approval comes shortly after HashKey activated a similar customer funds account with Singapore’s DBS Bank on June 30, which enabled fiat deposits, withdrawals and settlement support. DBS ranks as Singapore’s largest bank by assets, while JPMorgan stands as the fifth-largest bank worldwide, holding roughly $4.4 trillion in assets.
Platform Consolidation and Public Listing
The announcement follows HashKey’s recent move to merge its separate Exchange and Global platforms into one unified portal. The company went public in Hong Kong in December, raising $206 million through an oversubscribed initial public offering.
