Hyperliquid is drawing growing attention from institutional investors as ETFs linked to the platform continue to attract steady inflows. Early data suggests rising demand for exposure to the network’s native token, HYPE, as trading activity and protocol revenue strengthen.
Hyperliquid ETF Inflows Show Strong Early Demand
Hyperliquid related ETFs have recorded more than $11 million in inflows during their early trading period, signaling increasing investor interest. Market observers noted that trading volumes for THYP, one of the first Hyperliquid ETFs, have steadily climbed since launch.

ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said the fund’s daily trading activity has expanded significantly, reaching nearly eight times its opening day volume. He described the trend as a sign of growing organic demand, adding that Hyperliquid’s strong fee generation may be helping attract investors.
Hyperliquid Revenue Boosts HYPE Demand
Hyperliquid has become one of the largest onchain derivatives and perpetual trading platforms. Recent blockchain data showed the network captured more than 42% of total blockchain fees this week, surpassing major competitors.

Analysts say this growth is supporting HYPE’s market performance because the protocol routes nearly all revenue toward token buybacks through its Assistance Fund.
Research also found Hyperliquid ETFs outperformed ether funds in market cap adjusted inflows on five of their first six trading days, while also exceeding bitcoin funds on three occasions.
Bitwise Expands Commitment to HYPE
Bitwise recently confirmed it plans to use part of its ETF management fees to accumulate and stake HYPE tokens, reflecting growing confidence in Hyperliquid’s long-term growth potential. Bitwise investment chief Matt Hougan recently argued that Hyperliquid should be valued beyond crypto trading, describing it as a broader financial “super-app” with exposure across multiple asset classes.
