Sales Generate Gains Across Most Holdings

The transactions produced a ¥117.8 million gain, about $737,000, over their combined book value. Remixpoint booked gains of ¥60.2 million on ETH, ¥49.3 million on SOL, and ¥11.5 million on XRP, though it recorded a small loss of ¥3.3 million on its DOGE position. The company said the decision followed a review of market conditions, risk-return profiles, and overall financial strategy.

Bitcoin Becomes Sole Crypto Holding

With the altcoin sale complete, bitcoin is now Remixpoint’s only cryptocurrency asset, with holdings of approximately 1,506 BTC worth around $115.3 million. The firm said narrowing its crypto exposure to bitcoin would simplify its strategy and improve capital efficiency.

Bitcoin Lending Adds Extra Income

Remixpoint has also been earning returns by lending out its bitcoin, generating 14.92 BTC in fees between February and August, valued at roughly $1 million. The company said proceeds from the altcoin sales may go toward expanding into growth areas like grid-scale battery storage and strengthening its balance sheet. Shares of Remixpoint closed down 5% in Tokyo trading Wednesday.
