What Happened
The MANTRA team confirmed on social media that it halted the chain after becoming aware of the issue, stopping all deposits and withdrawals in the process. Users have been advised to avoid making transactions until further updates are provided.

According to the project’s status page, engineering and security teams are working alongside external partners, and exchange and ecosystem partners have been asked to pause activity involving the native token.
Market Reaction and Background
No root cause or resolution timeline has been shared yet. The MANTRA token fell 18.9% over the past 24 hours to $0.004406. The incident comes months after the company announced it would be acquired by strategic backer Inveniam Capital Partners, a deal expected to close later this year following MANTRA’s major token collapse in 2025 and subsequent layoffs.
