Cash Reserve Grows Without New Bitcoin Buy

During the July 13-19 period, Strategy sold 2,732,318 shares for $263.5 million in net proceeds but did not purchase additional bitcoin, instead boosting its cash reserve to $3.225 billion. A July 20 SEC filing shows the company still holds authorization to sell up to $23.53 billion in additional stock, giving it flexibility to fund future purchases, cash reserves, or other needs.

Saylor continues to frame bitcoin as a long term capital asset rather than a short-term trade, previously describing corporate bitcoin adoption as “necessary, inevitable, and welcome.”
