Token Unlock Timeline and Market Snapshot
Early investors hold close to 19.7 billion MON, nearly a fifth of total supply, locked since the network’s launch last November under a four-year vesting plan. Regular monthly releases begin this November. MON currently trades near $0.021, sitting below its original public sale price of $0.025, giving it a market cap around $250 million.
Network Activity Climbs Despite Weak Token Price
Total value locked in Monad’s DeFi ecosystem has jumped from roughly $360 million to nearly $895 million since early July, even as the token itself has underperformed.
