Decentralized exchange aggregator Odos Protocol has announced it will shut down, giving users a one-week window until July 30 to withdraw their assets. The team confirmed the decision through a post on X Thursday but did not offer a specific reason for the closure.
According to the announcement, the Odos DAO operates independently from the company running the protocol and will share its own separate plans going forward. The ODOS token itself will continue existing onchain even after the platform’s operations end.

Trading Volume Fell Sharply Over Two Years
Data from DefiLlama shows Odos Protocol’s trading volume has steadily declined, dropping to $169 million in July 2026 from a peak of $7.8 billion back in December 2024. The protocol had been generating approximately $2.72 million in annualized revenue before the shutdown announcement.

Part of a Broader Wave of Closures
Odos joins a growing list of crypto platforms winding down operations recently. Derivatives exchange BitMEX also announced plans this week to close after running for 11 years, adding to signs of consolidation across the industry.
Anyone holding assets on Odos Protocol is advised to withdraw funds before the July 30 deadline to avoid potential access issues once operations officially cease.
