Andrew Cuomo on 24/7 Wall Street

OKXICE co-chair Andrew Cuomo confirmed the company count and called the filing a landmark step toward a truly global, round-the-clock Wall Street. He added that it would help keep the future of digital finance anchored in the United States.

How the Joint Venture Started

OKX and Intercontinental Exchange formed their 50-50 partnership in June, with the goal of building infrastructure for tokenized financial products. The new filing is the first major public step from that venture toward a live trading venue.

SEC Innovation Exemption Rules for TSVs

The regulator issued a temporary exemption in September that permits limited trading of tokenized US stocks on selected onchain venues. Under its terms, TSVs can offer permissioned trading of tokenized National Market System (NMS) stocks, using automated market makers and liquidity pools to match buyers and sellers.
