Real Trump Coins has publicly denied any involvement in launching or promoting a token called GOLD, despite the digital asset briefly appearing across its official online channels before its value collapsed. The company blamed the incident on unauthorized third parties and said it is now cooperating with authorities to investigate.

Social Media and Website Both Featured the Token
The controversy began after the company’s official social media account promoted the Solana based GOLD token over the weekend and directed followers to a website associated with the brand, where the token was also advertised. Those posts were later removed, and the account has since redirected users to a different web address. The company stated it has never authorized any digital token and does not plan to launch one.

Token Supply Was Heavily Concentrated
Blockchain analysts found that a small number of wallets linked to the token’s creators controlled the vast majority of its total supply. Those wallets reportedly sold their holdings shortly after launch, generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit before the token’s value dropped sharply.
Confusion Over Account and Website Control
The situation left crypto community members questioning how both the social media account and the associated website could have been compromised simultaneously, especially since the account continued linking to the original website as recently as days before the incident. At the time of reporting, that website still displayed promotional material for the token, adding to the confusion around the company’s claims.
