Ripple Prime Expands Brevan Howard Partnership With Prime Brokerage and Clearing Services

Ripple Prime will now provide multi asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing services to funds run by Brevan Howard, a global investment manager overseeing about $35 billion. Under the expanded agreement announced Tuesday, the firm gains access to services across both traditional and digital asset markets. Brevan Howard chief operating officer Alan McGroarty said that as the two worlds grow more connected, demand is rising for institutional-quality digital asset infrastructure that gives investors a seamless experience. The manager works with sovereign wealth funds, corporate and public pension plans, foundations and endowments.

Existing Ties Between Ripple and Brevan Howard

The deal builds on a relationship that already exists. Funds affiliated with Brevan Howard took part in a $500 million investment in Ripple in 2025, which valued the company at $40 billion.

Ripple Prime Prime Brokerage Expansion

The agreement arrives as Ripple builds out its prime brokerage arm. In August, Ripple Prime raised $275 million through a senior note offering to fund growth in prime brokerage, financing and multi-asset clearing. Ripple created the business after buying prime broker Hidden Road for about $1.25 billion in 2025.
