Ripple is expanding its presence in U.S. college sports through a new multi year partnership with the University of Florida, bringing XRP branding to the school’s athletic programs during the 2026 football season.
XRP Branding Comes to Florida Football
The XRP logo will appear on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, as well as on Florida Athletics’ digital platforms and event signage. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The partnership also includes financial and technology education for Florida student athletes and members of the wider campus community, covering traditional finance and digital assets.
Ripple Expands College Sports Strategy
Florida Athletics Director Scott Stricklin said the agreement reflects the university’s focus on innovation and technology while introducing XRP to a large college sports audience.
The deal follows Ripple’s partnership with the Kansas Jayhawks earlier this summer, where an XRP patch is set to appear on team jerseys. It marked the first reported use of a cryptocurrency brand on the jerseys of a major college sports program.
Florida competes in the Southeastern Conference with 21 teams and more than 500 student athletes. The university has won 49 national championships across 16 sports, including three football national titles.
