Russia Says Ukraine Launched 400 Drones At Moscow Region Overnight

Vorobyov said two people were wounded and multiple civilian infrastructure sites were damaged or caught fire as a result of the strikes. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said more than 400 drones were launched at the region between 8:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. local time, with most intercepted at long range, including 85 destroyed as they approached the capital.

Broader Overnight Toll

Russia’s Defence Ministry said air defense systems shot down 381 Ukrainian drones across Russian regions along with the Black Sea and Sea of Azov overnight, as the drone campaign against Russian territory continues to escalate.
