Strategy Inc. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor stirred renewed buying speculation after posting “Bitcoin Drive engaged” on Sunday, August 2, alongside the company’s usual acquisition tracker. The move mirrors past patterns, including a similar post before Strategy’s July 27 disclosure of an expanded cash reserve.

Holdings Reduced After Recent Sales
Saylor’s tracker showed Strategy’s reserve at 843,775 BTC, valued near $53.25 billion, with an average purchase cost of $75,653 per coin. The company’s live ledger lists 843,775 BTC acquired for roughly $63.69 billion. Two recent sales totaling 3,588 BTC reduced holdings from 847,363 BTC, with proceeds used to fund preferred-stock payments and rebuild the dollar reserve.

No Purchases Made Last Week
Filings show Strategy made no bitcoin purchases during the week ending July 26, instead raising its cash reserve to about $3.75 billion, leaving traders watching closely for Monday’s next move.
