Expanding Regulatory Footprint

The new registration adds investment advisory capabilities alongside Securitize’s existing regulated operations, which include a broker-dealer license, an alternative trading system, transfer agent services, and fund administration. CEO Carlos Domingo said the move strengthens the company’s ability to help institutions build and manage investment strategies within onchain capital markets. Previously operating as an exempt reporting adviser, Securitize Capital is now subject to stricter disclosure, compliance, and examination requirements.

Largest Tokenization Platform

Securitize remains the largest tokenization platform by onchain asset value, managing around $4.8 billion in tokenized assets across funds from major asset managers including BlackRock, Apollo, KKR, VanEck, and Hamilton Lane.
