Solana ETFs Pull in Record $188 Million Weekly as Bitwise Captures Two Thirds

U.S. spot Solana exchange traded funds drew a record $188 million in net inflows last week, and every fund in the group attracted new money. Friday alone supplied nearly half the total, with about $87 million coming in, the biggest single day since the products launched. Net inflows measure money entering the funds after withdrawals, not shares changing hands between traders.

Bitwise BSOL Leads the Pack

Bitwise’s BSOL took roughly $128 million across the five sessions through September 25, including $56 million on Friday. Grayscale’s GSOL added $28 million and Fidelity’s FSOL $18 million, while Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares shared the remaining $14 million. BSOL holds about $1.2 billion of the group’s $1.6 billion in cumulative inflows, roughly 76%, so its 68% share last week was slightly below its long-term level.

Solana Price and Alpenglow Upgrade

Buying spread across crypto funds, with bitcoin ETFs taking in about $2.4 billion and ether products around $690 million. SOL traded near $119 on Monday, still about 60% below its record near $293. Meanwhile, developers are testing Alpenglow, an upgrade meant to cut finality from about 12.8 seconds to roughly 150 milliseconds. It reached the second public test network on Friday, though the speed is only a target and no launch date has been set for the live blockchain.
