Tiny Transfers Draw Attention After IPO

According to Arkham Intelligence, the largest of three transactions moved just 0.00213 BTC, worth about $135, between two SpaceX-linked wallets.

A second transfer sent 0.00139 BTC, roughly $89, while Coinbase Prime’s custody service topped up a SpaceX address with 0.000738 BTC, about $47, a typical amount used to cover network fees ahead of a larger transaction. None of the funds reached an exchange deposit address.

Holdings Remain Steady At Over 18,000 BTC

The movements come weeks after SpaceX’s June 12 public listing, the largest IPO on record, which for the first time disclosed the company’s full bitcoin position of 18,712 BTC on its balance sheet. Before the filing, trackers could only confirm about 8,285 BTC belonging to the company. The full disclosure revealed holdings purchased for roughly $661 million at an average price near $35,000 per coin.

Pattern Consistent With Past Wallet Activity

The last significant wallet activity occurred six to seven months ago, when SpaceX shifted around 1,000 BTC at a time between its own addresses and Coinbase Prime custody, again without sending funds to an exchange. SpaceX founder Elon Musk now oversees more than 30,000 BTC combined across SpaceX and Tesla. Analysts note that any future transfer to a known exchange deposit address would be the clearest signal of a shift in how SpaceX manages its treasury.
