Spot Bitcoin ETFs Draw $2.65 Billion in September as Institutional Demand Holds
US spot bitcoin ETFs took in $2.65 billion in net inflows in September, the second largest monthly figure since October 2025. That was lower than August's $3.52 billion, but still well above the levels seen over the past year. Inflows continued into the first day of October with $102.7 million, while spot ether ETFs lost $55.4 million.

Spot Ether ETF Flows Slow Down
Spot ether ETFs attracted $832.43 million in September, down from $1.85 billion in August. It was still their second largest monthly inflow since August 2025.
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index stood at 69, in greed territory but not at an extreme.
Bitcoin and Ether Price Update
Bitcoin climbed 3.1% over 24 hours to $86,626, while ether rose 1% to $2,735. John said traders will watch ETF flows and key US data, including the Oct. 8 jobless claims report, inflation figures and Fed commentary that could shift rate expectations.
