No Change To Bitcoin Holdings

According to a regulatory filing, Strategy bought back roughly 1.42 million STRC preferred shares between September 8 and September 13, using cash from its USD reserve. The company reported its USD Reserve balance at $5.1 billion and its USD Cash balance at $1.3 billion as of Monday.

Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings remain steady at 845,050 BTC, worth close to $65.7 billion at current prices. That amount represents more than 4% of bitcoin’s total supply limit, with the company sitting on billions in unrealized gains based on its average purchase price.

A Shift In Public Strategy

Notably, the company’s Executive Chairman has pulled back from his usual weekend updates that once hinted at upcoming bitcoin purchases, reflecting a shift in approach as the firm’s holdings have remained flat in recent weeks.

New Capital Framework In Place

Strategy remains one of nearly 200 public companies now holding bitcoin as part of a corporate treasury strategy, though its stock has fallen sharply from previous highs. Shares dropped nearly 5% last week, while bitcoin itself declined almost 4% over the same stretch.
